I made this quilt for my Dad's girlfriend, Michelle. It looks very "Christmassy" but it really isn't. In person, it has more of an Asian Print feel, which is what I was going for. I was not part of MQ-4 when it came out, I just liked the pattern and made it.

I made this for my son Jimmy while he was serving our country, in Afghanistan this past year. He is back in the states now, and I will be giving this to him this weekend (2-16-12) after 2 years of not seeing him. He LOVES the LA Dodgers baseball team, hence the Blues, Grey and a little bit of Red to match the colors of their Logo and Uniforms. His Dad

I finally got this posted... I used it on Thanksgiving, and it was beautiful with the table set. I used the pattern that was sent with the fabrics for half of the quilt and then I did a "free hand" cut that was just a bit different for the balance of the blocks. I put a cute pumpkin "stitched" fabric for the small boarder and used

Thanksgiving table cloth made from the fabrics received from the Fall Fabric Swap. The colors are so rich, and goes so good with my table and chairs.

Thank you Sandy for posting my quilt. I worked hard to get it done and was a bit irritated that I couldn't get it posted. I'm pretty computer savy and can do just about anything in the way of posting and uploading photos. Sometimes at work things don't always work and I try again at home, but that didn't work either. In the bar above the area for you to write a post, there's something that looks like green film, like photo or video film. When you put your pointer over it, it says "Insert Media." Click on

how do you get the picture in the viewing area? I posted my quilt in the Media Section, but not in the Discussion Section that says post pic here. Is there a secret? What kind of file do I need for the "discussion" section to insert the picture? currently it's a jpeg, is that correct if not what do I need. Thank you Cathy

Here is a closer look at the boarder and one of the blocks.

The fabrics are all from quilts I've made, except the black boarder fabrics. I wasn't sure about how it would come out with all the different colors and fabrics, but it looks nice. Enjoy :)

Well, I'm just about done with my boarders, hopefully will finish on Wednesday. 2 Meetings in a row this week. I've left the quilt top out with the boarder for the Quilting Kitties to work on, but all they do is lay on it. Darn Kitties! Hopefully I'll have pic's later this week. So far everyones quilts are really nice.
