Leilani, love each of your art quilts in your gallery here. You do wonderful work. I'm taking a class on Craftsy & have purchased a couple of books on art quilts . I want to do one of my granddaughter but I'm still in the planning stages! I hope mine are as nice as yours.

Thank you all for you comments/suggestions. I had forgotten that I have set of water resistant wax pastel colors (Caran d"Ache SA) I purchased last year to highlight several of the quilt blocks I did for a Round Robin. So I found them and highlighted the edge of the vase in a darker pink color & set it with my iron. The vase looks much better

I finished up the tee-shirt quilt for my 9 yr old nephew for his birthday. This was my first attempt working with tee-shirts. Not so bad. These were 10" blocks. Waiting on "hair band" tee-shirts from my daughter for a kingsize quilt, but will do them in 12" squares to ensure I get all the logo on each. ("hair band - aka rock
