Rita, Velcro is a great idea! Just because I have an old metal desk that my metal worker husband converted into a sewing table, doesn't mean everyone else does! LOL. I don't know how I lived before my "thread catcher". Everything is so much neater and it's amazing how fast the little bits of fluff add up.

I recently came across a magnetic air deflector that is used to move the air from floor vents in another direction. It is made of clear plastic and shaped like a pocket. It wasn't in use, so I stuck it to the side of my metal sewing desk to get it out of the way. It was right next to my ironing board. I started to put all those little bits of thread

Tiny, collectible, one of a kind, mini quilt. 2-1/2" x 3-1/2". Fusible applique with tiny zig zag stitch. Signed, numbered, and dated on the flipside.

Small sewing area, moved into the corner where the piano used to be. At least I'm up and running. The rest of the house is a mess!

Thanks, so much Nancy & everyone else, too! I will check that out. I'm also planning on going to the Sewing Expo in Raleigh in June. Maybe there will be some good contacts there, too. Have a super day!

Thanks again, everyone for the warm welcome. For some reason, I couldn't access my account for a while. Thanks to the wonderful folks at Quiltmaker Magazine, and Quilters Club of America. They helped me to get back. I'm so grateful. It's a fun place to be! Love to all my quilty friends!
