  • Escher Snail's Trail

I love tesselations and found the block (snail's trail) I needed to make this quilt. I wanted the colors to flow from dark to light to emphasize the different sets of blocks. It brightens up the whole room! (Somehow this picture loaded upside down!)

  • Rec Room Tumblers

This is my first scrap quilt. I had fun deciding where to put each one. The pattern called for alternating light/ with medium or dark.

  • Symphony in Red

My variation on a rail fence pattern. I made this for my two musically inclined friends, who sing and play piano and french horn. I collected the fabrics from several shops and did some free motion treble clefs in the quilting.

  • Go Blue! Double Wedding Ring Quilt

This is my first DWR and it was tough! It's taken over a year to make and quilt it (not quilted yet in the pic) as I couldn't work on it full time. I used the Omni templates from JoAnn's which worked out well. The curves could be challenging to a non-sewer but I had no problems with them. I ended up quilting an allover pattern of roses.
