  • Gemma's quilt

This quilt was originally a mystery quilt. It's not the sort of thing I usually do being more of a traditional quilter, but Inthought it turned out well.

I had to smile reading this thread... My boss sent me a text and asked if I could come in an hour early, I've a temporary job working in an insurance office. When I came in I asked her how I was expected to finish marking my quilt top when she kept calling me in early? Get this... "Bring it with you and do it here" she tells me. Now is

I think I can manage to keep myself busy until October. Since I already know what the finished product will look like, it wouldn't be much of a 'mystery' to do the MQ4. I am quilting a mystery quilt that our guild did while I was in Shanghai. It was foundation pieced using batiks. It turned out really well and I am currently quilting it

It looks like I missed a great mystery quilt. Since it's number 4 I'm assuming there will be another? When will it start? I'd love to be in on it. The quilt that I'm quiling on now is a mystery quilt done in batiks that I think turned out well, I'll post it when it's finished.

  • Scrappy Granny

I just finished this one, it's from AP&Q's October 2010 issue. I made it for my newest grandchild, Tyler Aaron Brunais who was born last August. He had to wait for his quilt because I was busy moving back to the states when he was born. I never make 'baby' looking baby quilts as I can see the babies getting older and 'outgrowing'

Welcome Linda! I'm new to the club as well and I agree with the WOW. There's so much here, I could be on all day and not see a fraction of what's available.

  • Re: Hello Everyone!

Welcome Maggie! I am new as well, although not new to quilting. I have to say I like the idea of the UFO club, I've got a ton of those. As a matter of fact, I have an album on facebook of just quilt tops! I finished the tops and that's as far as I've gotten. Someday I'll get around to quilting them.....someday.
