The pattern for this wallhanging was actually for a small quilt, but I didn't want to do the whole quilt. The pattern is by Meg Hawkey of Crabapple Hill Studio. It was fun and easy to make for Halloween.

I made this baby quilt for my expectant niece. We know baby is a boy now (whew), if baby had been a girl mom would have used this anyway LOL. I fused the images onto the background and then big stitch outlined them with embroidery floss. The hand quilting goes around the images three times in 1/2 inch, then 1 inch and then 1 1/2 inch increments. It

the name UFO's seems to have such a negative connotation to it. I would like to propose some new names for our Wonderful Works in Progress??? . . . . Future MasterPieces???. . . . . .Future Family Hierlooms???. . . . .and for those projects that just seem to go on forever. . . . .No Longer Fun!!!!! Teeheee. Does anyone else have some ideas?
