Greetings. There is a wonderful shop in Holt which is just south of Lansing. I assume you come in on I-96 to US 127 north. Go south on 127 and we are the first exit after getting off 96. Dakota Cabin Quilts is my number one go to online shop. Coming in a close second after DCQ are several: Hancock's, Keepsake Quilting, KTQuilts (Kansas Troubles) and Connecting Threads (for anything except fabric). I have also had excellant luck with eQuilter for non Civil War fabrics.

If you like CW fabric you need to stop in Holt and visit Everlasting Stitches. She specializes in CW fabrics and has probably three times what you will find on a good day at Country Stitches. Greetings everyone! I am a recent member of QCA so I am still in the "looking around" phase of my membership. I live outside Lansing, MI and have access to a couple excellant quilt shops. My main interest is in reproduction fabrics and the quilts of the Civil War. I must admit that I do a lot more buying of the fabric than I do in the sewing

Purchased aprox. 5 years ago when I bought the sewing machine. I have only used it two or three times. I thought I would enjoy it but it's not my thing.
