  • Re: Thanks

Greetings. There is a wonderful shop in Holt which is just south of Lansing. I assume you come in on I-96 to US 127 north. Go south on 127 and we are the first exit after getting off 96. ( I say we because I live in Holt.) The shop is Everlasting Stitches. She has a little bit of everything but specializes in reproductions. She also has a hugh selection

  • Re: where do you shop the most online?

Dakota Cabin Quilts is my number one go to online shop. Coming in a close second after DCQ are several: Hancock's, Keepsake Quilting, KTQuilts (Kansas Troubles) and Connecting Threads (for anything except fabric). I have also had excellant luck with eQuilter for non Civil War fabrics.

She has a very large collection of shirtings which CS doesn't usually carry. Her address is: 2040 N. Aurelius Rd. Holt. (Holt is just south of Lansing.) Next

  • MI quilter

Greetings everyone! I am a recent member of QCA so I am still in the "looking around" phase of my membership. I live outside Lansing, MI and have access to a couple excellant quilt shops. My main interest is in reproduction fabrics and the quilts of the Civil War. I must admit that I do a lot more buying of the fabric than I do in the sewing

  • Embroidery unit for Viking Quilt Designer II

Purchased aprox. 5 years ago when I bought the sewing machine. I have only used it two or three times. I thought I would enjoy it but it's not my thing. I have a small number of patterns and a full Medeira thread chest. Paid over $1200 new. Please reply to Kitty4L@ymail.com with embroidery unit in the subject line. I will consider all reasonable
