  • Remnants of Summers Past

The Challenge: Create a quilt using only scraps that I have in the house. Machine pieced. Hand quilted. The fun part was the walk down memory lane as I used scraps from clothing made for my daughters and other family members. I used a very summer-y pallet. It is King size.

  • Cascade

I made this quilt for my parent's 60th anniversary. Dad loves purple and Mom loves Dad! Remind me to never, never, never machine quilt with metallic thread again, no matter how gorgeous it is when you finally finish.

  • Scrubs!

body This quilt is from the pattern "Team Spirit" found in Quiltmaker's All Time Favorites Winter 2005. I made it for my daughter, a Pediatric ICU nurse at St. Francis Children's Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She has worked there since 1996. In that time I have made almost all of her scrub tops. The cheery scrubs bring a bit of brightness

  • Boy Scout tee shirt quilt

This tee shirt quilt chronicles a decade of Scouting that culminated in the owner attaining the honor of Eagle Scout. The Scout's Grandmother, who went on almost every scouting event, brought me the tee shirts and said "Do something with these." This quilt is the something. It has a tartan plaid flannel backing and is tied rather than
