  • Re: IS THIS A JOKE?

I am with you. I have had trouble for many months. We are not getting what we are paying for. I think they should give us a full year of free membership (after the problem is proven fixed) so we can use what we have been paying for. It is very frustrating. I have called, but nothing has changed. I can't post a comment so I am adding a few comments

Yes Ginny, I also have a Phaff with a built in walking foot. It us much better. I guess it has spoiled me. I bought my Phaff back in 2001, it still works just fine, but I was afraid if something happened I would be without a machine. Sounds like we were of the same situation. I still use the Phaff when I go to group quilting. The Symphony doesn't

Roxana I tape the Angler 2 to the bed of the sewing machine with painters tape, works well. I have had no problems with it. My machine is in a cabinet so the bed is flat. I can see there would be a problem if it is not in a cabinet.

MNnancy--I am also from Minnesota, I live just north of Mpls. Anxious for the next step. I did Mystery #8. Turned out really nice. I'm glad this one doesn't have the tiny pieces. I made it as a prayer quilt for a friend with breast cancer.

Been ready for a few days. can't post unless I reply to some. I wanted to see if anyone has a tool called "The Angler 2". I bought it a number of years ago when I was learning to do HST. It attaches to any sewing machine. It is a clear piece of acrylic with lines on showing the angle on the sides and in the front it has 1/4 inch mark.

Good morning everyone, Hope you are all having fun with the HST. 336 is a lot of HST. I happened to have a tool I bought it a quilt shop years ago when learning how to make the HST. It is "The Angler 2". It attaches to the bed of any sewing machine. It has markings so there is no need to draw a line on all those squares. It has saved me lots

You know, sometimes when you make mistakes like that, you have created a new pattern, may not be all bad. I did that with the pattern Lovers Knot. Good Luck and hope you are feeling better. Kathy

Judy Don't feel lonesome, I did the same thing. Had to rib them out and do it the right way. I really pays to read twice and sew once. Hopefully will get started on Step 5 this weekend. Working part-time gets in the way of quilting. Kathy
