You know, sometimes when you make mistakes like that, you have created a new pattern, may not be all bad. I did that with the pattern Lovers Knot. Good Luck and hope you are feeling better. Kathy

Judy Don't feel lonesome, I did the same thing. Had to rib them out and do it the right way. I really pays to read twice and sew once. Hopefully will get started on Step 5 this weekend. Working part-time gets in the way of quilting. Kathy

Hi Joni, Thank you. I'm not on the discussions often. I am doing the Mystery Quilt 8. So I get here at least once a week to get the next step. It is very small pieces but interesting and I'm anxious to see what it looks like when it is done.

Thank you. I am a member of QCA. That's why I thought I should be able to post. I will call them Monday. Are you doing the Mystery Quilt 8. Small pieces but it will be interesting to see what it looks like. I am anxious to see it when it is done.

Thank you for removing the info, I thought I was communicating with just QCA, submitting my problem.

that's what is says when I clicked on create an new post. I am signed in. I called last week because I couldn't get signed in. We have that problem solved. Have to use Google Chrome for my browser. I am not comfortable not being able to use Microsoft Internet Explorer. How hope you get that problem solved. But back to my original question. Why
-
Yep! I didn't read it well enough. I guess concentrating on the real instructions. Will be working on the rest of the 9-patches tonight.

Nancy, sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I have been having computer problems. They are wonderful when everything is working. Spring is on its way, it sounds like we will have clouds and rain most of the week, maybe snow on Wednesday. Good time to work on the Mystery Quilt. I worked on some of the 9 patches last night. I am not use to working

Nancy, I agree about Step 3. I am confused. I get the 9 patches, but are we suppose to just mark the 2-1/2" squares or sew the light and dark together? I am also from Minnesota, a couple hours south of you. (Ramsey) it is between Elk River and Anoka. Have fun. This is my first mystery quilt with this group. I have gone to 3 mystery quilt weekends

Thanks for the warning. I am confused on the first paragraph of this weeks instructions. Do we sew the HST or just mark them?
