I have filled my stash w/ fat quarters. I buy yardages of stuff I love, such as Mary Englebreit fabrics. My stash is pretty huge now, so I tend to just buy fabrics for particular projects now. I LOVE fabric, so it is pretty hard to restrain myself if I'm in a shop...

I really love my local independent quilt shops, but sometimes I can only find the exact fabric I want on line. I have never had a problem with receiving my fabric quickly and it has always been nice quality. I find the shops through quiltshops.com, by typing in a key word and then it does the searching for me. I once had a local quilt shop order fabric

Hello All! I read the previous questions about sergers, and wonder if one would improve my quilting or if it is more for making clothing. What does the serger do better than my Janome sewing machine? Thanks again, Sherry S

The same for me! Just joined, and haven't tried much, but boy do I have a stash built and LOTS of projects lined up! I'm hoping to get over my perfectionism and just sit down and DO IT.
