Finally had time to get my picture uploaded. Remain happy and amazing how the slight imperfections blend in. My cousin's dtr off to college last week. I have her quilt top done and will begin quilting. This was a very quick pattern, twin bed size. Done in batiks which I have not used much. Fabrics were sent to me and really had to use them wisely

Quilt is finished and I am well into another. As much as I complained about the straight stitching quilting, and I did, I really like it. Wine did help after all also! I'd probably fall asleep with the wine! Boring just doing straight lines. I am over 3/4 finished. I will do the freehand after I finish the "lines" with the darning foot. When I came to those squares I just changed the stitch length and did a few stitches, (raised the presser foot and moved to the new spot) just as the beginning and end

Thank you for the response. I finished the last few pins and have the quilt rolled with round clips on. Today after the flower show in town I will actually begin the quilting. Since this is a reproduction 30's fabric quilt I wanted something as quilted in that period. I decided to do diagonal lines. This will also be the easiest, I think. I have

Thank you for this subject. I am in So Cal(island off San Diego) and my mentor was in Minneapolis. Each year we would get together at each other's home for 2 weeks and quilt. I have been to most of the MN Quilters conventions since early 90's. My aunt, mentor and best friend died last year. She did all the quilting on my big quilts. I now am
