  • Re: Did you work on a quilt today? #11

Judy, Love - love - love your machine pad. What a great idea! I may have to borrow that. Am really enjoying your posts on MQ12. I am away from home so decided not to try to do this one. Maybe later in the year. Thanks for all you do for QCA
  • Re: "Colors" Book

Carol Your "Colors" book is so imaginative and fun. I have never seen anything like it and can visualize a small child playing with this wonderful teaching book. I have three young nephews and nieces that may have to receive something similar to this. Thank you for sharing your terrific idea!

  • Re: Warped Cutting Mat

Judy, I have fixed a warped mat by laying it out on the concrete patio, covering it with a flat surface - in my case a piece of plywood - weighting it down with a couple of bricks and letting it lay in the sun for several hours. It worked great.

  • Re: Hello from Australia

Sandie Welcome to Quilters' Club. Your quilts are beautiful. You do excellent work. I understand your feelings about the signatures and comments on the blocks. I did something similar but the receiving couple did not mind about the (to me) less than acceptable appearance. Over the years they remember their friends and family and the associations

I am so excited about MQ#12. Although I don't have it quilted yet I really love MQ#11. Debi did such a great job and I am so looking forward to the next one. I just finished the Little House on the Prairie mystery and the Connecting Threads Quilt With Us mystery so I am ready to start right in with a new one. Thank you Debi and Roxanne for all of

  • Re: Steam Irons

I am a Black & Decker fan. I have two irons that I have been using for over 10 years. I really don't believe that you have to spend a lot of money to get a good iron. I spent around $30 for my irons - that's about $3.00 per year. Check out the irons at your local department stores.
