    Hi all, I am clearing out my craft room and have decided to part with my past issues of several quilting magazines. Just wondering if there is a home out there for them, I feel too attached to them to just throw into the recycle bin, but I don't want to hang on to them any longer.     Hi Susie and Barbara, I have been away from QCA for a while now. I started up knitting and have gotten the knitting bug real bad!!! But I want to get back into quilting. It was an amazing revelation to me how sedentary knitting is and how much more active the whole hitting process is. Ask me how I know now 20 lbs later!!! I have several orphan blocks

    Funny you should bring this subject up. I made an American flag for my classroom about 18 years ago and have had it up in every room I've been in. But just last week the fire Marshall came in and told me that I either needed treat the quilt with fire retardant spray or remove it from my wall. And that the spray had to be district approved.
