At last my mystery qilt top is finished. Because of my choice of fabrics I've lost the overall pattern of the secret windows, Had to do some swapping of fabric to make to my liking but am pleased with the way the overall quilt top turned out. I see this as a quilt that can be used from fall and transition clear through the holiday season because

Hopefully I'm going to get to start working on my two secret window quilts this weekend. Had to finish a block swap quilt I was doing with another quilt group before I could even think about my mystery quilts. Have #1 up on the design wall, (reds/tans/dark greens) and that one is going to be reworked colorwise in a major way. Sandi was right of

Finally got around to starting step 2 this week, and decided to do my second quilt first this month. Really like how the bright colors are coming together. Now to finish cutting out my Secret Window 1, and deciding if I'm going to scrappy it up some.

Sandi Glad you were able to have a great visit with your mom, those are truely cherished. Earlier I posted a question about using triangulations on the part 2 of our mystery quilt. Have read through the instructions a couple times and am not quite clear how that will work out. Was wondering if you had any suggestions. JanJo

Sandi Been reading through the instructions for Part 2 for the third time to familarize myself before I start cutting and sewing. I'm also trying to figure out how I'm going to use my Triangulations software to make the require HST. Do you have any suggestions for those of us that use this wonderful product? JanJo in Reno

Wow! Is about all I can say for Part 2. Have our work cut out for us on this one. You weren't kidding Sandi when you said this one would require a "little" more cutting and sewing! Sure wish I'd hurry up and get my magazine now that I've seen your post! JanJo
