  • Re: What are the block of the month quilts?

I got confused when I was reading the posts for the snowbound quilt. I'm easily confused! I have the Country Cousins book. But I need to stop and really clean the sewing room. I need to organize. If you really knew me, you would be laughing pretty hard by now. I am forcing small pieces of fabric out of my hand and into the trash. I found stuff I

  • Re: How many?

I keep trying to figure out how long I will have to live so I can complete what I have started and what I have planned. For just the applique, my sister told me I will need to celebrate my 175th birthday. Needless to say, I have started doing more on the machine and I leave notes in all the project boxes for the quilter who picks it up at a garage sale

  • How many?

Hi everyone! I have a question! How many projects can one quilter have going at one time? This is actually my husband's question! This morning I received the Baltimore Cousins book. Hi Everyone, It's me Ree! I want to make a country cousins quilt too! I watch my grandkids in the summer so I like to do hand applique. I'm not the greatest at it but I am a firm believer in "Finished is better than perfect." On another thought, I was watching the Cricut machine on HSN and wondered if anyone ever used one to cut applique

Thanks Gini, I have the qsnaps in several sizes and will try it. I use needle turn I find it the most easy of the hand methods. I like reading the posts so I'll get back to that . The wind is blowing so hard, I can't sleep I do have another question though. The Tobin Tree of Life quilts are a 50//50 blend I found that it frays really bad when

  • Old quilt kits

I have decided to finish my (or at least get as much done) old quilt kits. After sorting through the pile, I have decided to work on the Progress Rhododendron. The quilt top size is 81"x99". Most of the other tops I have appliquéd came in 3 or 4 pieces and I always worked on as much of each one of the sections as I could before putting
