I spent the weekend with my new DGD who is 3 weeks old now. We went shopping half the day and night yesterday and out to Olive Garden for dinner and she slept a good part of the time.     I was busy the last couple of days helping out at a quilting retreat here in town. They made charity quilts for the kids with cancer. Some of the ladies actually finished the piecing and quilting. The binding will be another class in March. They decided to show them how to miter borders, etc, etc, then, too. They provided lunch both days with a beautiful

    Welcome, Tessa ! Im sure you get a lot of use out of your quilts up there in cold country. Once you start making quilts it becomes very addictive very quickly. I can relate to Hubs having no idea, Im sure mine does he just doesnt say anything as I like to remind him of his costly hobbies. Hope you enjoy your time here and be sure to show us some pics

    Kathy, sorry to hear your DD is moving away with your precious GDs. I know how that feels as mine has lived in SC, Georgia and now back to Clermont Fl close to you . Its only 21/2 hours from me so its not so bad. Do you like to drive? It can be a pretty drive up to NC.Hope they have a safe trip. Susan
