    Biggest tip I can give is: BE PATIENT! Be patient with yourself, with your material, your creativity! Have fun with doing every thing. If you're not it's time for a break. Take a walk. If you have a dog take him/her with you. Look around and see how marvelous this world really is! Relax. The world won't fall apart if you take a bit longer

  • Save thread, make baby quilt

    To save thread I used to keep a scrap of fabric and run off on it at the end of a line of stitching. Now I keep 5" squares handy and sew two together when I come to the end of a line of stitching. This way I can use the sqares to keep joining until I get enough to make a baby or lap quilt. I am using up 5" squares that I bought gobs of when
