    Thanks for your reply. I've talked to some local quilters and they suggested a cotton backing and tacking more closely than usual to hold it all together. I'm just wish I could start over, but they are not all cut the same and the stitching is very close. No room to cut it apart, so I'll have to go with some batting and cotton backing and

  • T-shirt quilt help please!

    A non-sewing friend cut the fronts from her t-shirts and just sewed them all together. No interfacing and bulky seams. It is 90 x 90, large and not "squared up". Should I try to fuse interfacing to the middle of each t-shirt as it is, or just layer batting and backing as it is? I though about birthing it and tacking at the corners of each
