Thanks for the tips in assembly. I'm getting closer to putting it all together, but might start adding some of the sashings and cornerstones before I finish all the blocks. There are only 18 more to finish the original 111. I'm a bit behind because I spent the past weekend helping my mother (age 81) complete 91 scrappy disappearing 4 patch blocks

Wow! That looks amazing. I've still got 20-30 to finish. Did you double upwith the extra blocks or did you search out new and different designs? And the cornerstones, were they hard to set up and match? Great job.

In her next bookThe Farmer's Wife Pony Club, the templates are arranged much better. there are pages for paper piecing as well as templates and all templates for a block are on the same page. Thank goodness. I too have tried to get more than 1 per sheet but the dimensions always come out a bit off. Perhaps if we venture on to tackle that quilt,
