Thanks for letting us know that the Step 4 will be later than planned...I agree it's better late than doing the Step 4 wrong :)) Thanks again for doing the mystery quilt!! I am enjoying this one a lot!

So i bought a Spa quilt kit online...then i decided i should make it into a queen size quilt for the guest room...so i bought some border fabric - 3 different kinds for visual effect...then we decided to downsize to a house with no guest room...so i had to change plans halfway to make the quilt an even bigger one - to a King Size....that was challenging

So it started with a motivational fridge quilt for a family member...then i decided to make 2 others for family as art for the fridge...i sew the magnets in by hand on the back, for which i cut a little pocket that is surrounded by stitching so the magnet doesn't move...adding beadwork and trim makes it sparkle.

This was my own creation based on a free slice of pie pattern...there's blueberry, cherry and blackberry pie...yum!
-
So i found a cute little quilt shop in Longmont, CO - bought a bunch of mixed scraps for cheap (like several handfuls for $10)...just started cutting pieces then sewing them together...no definite pattern...just loved the colors...made it into a lap quilt for my cats...also got to use my new Viking on it...my first time free quilting...that was difficult
