    have you tried Superior Threads metallics? You may have much better luck with them. Also, using the Superior Bottom Line thread in the bobbin should help. There's information and videos on the Superior Threads website which are very helpful. Effie

    l love the flag. It's the finishing touch. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. The weather forecast for the Niagara region this weekend isn't the greatest but it will be good to have the turkey dinner with all the kids & grandkids. Effie

    Hi. sorry I didn't check in for a few days and so didn't get your message. Since it's now Wednesday, I'll assume you've picked up the batting and backing. It doesn't matter what kind of batting and I'm sure whatever you picked out for the backing will be great. Effie

    Louise, I'm so sorry to hear about your accident. Keep resting and dreaming of your future quilt projects. Marilyn, I don't remember seeing any Where's Waldo fabrics in the local quilt shops. I'll keep my eyes open and let you know if I see any. If you're here visiting your daughter, give me a call so we can get together again.

    Hello everyone. It's been ages since I've been on this site. Too much to do which, unfortunately does not include having time to quilt, and not enough hours in the day. We did go away for 10 days of camping R&R which both DH and I really needed. I'm still thinking about what to do for the Canadiana block so one of these days it will
