Good Morning Everyone, Yes we had a nice Christmas in the new house. The kids were here along with one of my brothers and his family. They always come to my house for Christmas. It was a big group. Jo, I'm sorry that you are still suffering so much. I know the misery of a long term muscle and joint problem, not to the extent of yours but for the

Hi Everybody, I sorry to have been away so long. It seems like I never have a moment these days to sit down and do the things I enjoy. Well we are still working on the house. It's just about finished. We are just missing counter tops that were due weeks ago. When they opened the package containing the stone to cut it, the stone was cover with some

Hello Everyone, Sorry I have not written as much as I promise to. My days are tied up in painting and running errands trying to keep things moving on the house. Linny, Thank you for the insight. Sometimes I have a habit of looking at the bad and not the good. God has so richly blessed us with this new home that I can't begin to explain the things

Ladies, Thank you for your concern. It's more my principal that the Superintendent, although he has been very disappointing. I voted fro him 4 years ago thinking he would make the teacher's workload lighter and be a game changer. He failed. He caves on almost everything. I thought he was trying to stay in good with the voters but he's not

Wow! I can't believe Diane passed away. That is such a shock. Thanks Jo for letting us know. Donna, in answer to your question about retiring I have one more year to be eligible. In Florida you either have to have reached 30 years or 60 or 62. I'll be almost 52 when the school year ends next year. There is an incident program in Florida were

Hey Everyone, I'm happy to report my 29th year of teaching is over! It was a good year with a fairly good group of kids. There's always one or two rotten eggs in the pile. We've been working on the house for the last couple of days. I'm beginning to wonder if we will ever get everything done. Linny, Sorry about not posting a lot this

Donna, I remember seeing these! I thought I posted that they were lovely and like always you did a awesome job. So sorry that I missed it. I think it is great that you are going to get your machine repaired and back up and running. Wow! 2 inch squares. I bet that is not easy. I recently started the 2nd Farmer's wife quilt in 1930's print. I
