    Thanks Kris and MamaG. In all this sadness there is happiness too. Many things I can be grateful and thankful for. I am waiting for a new baby great nephew to be born. I think he knows what the weather is like and prefers to be warm and cosy for now...lol There will be another great nephew or niece by September. My oldest son and his girlfriend/ life

    Wow I had forgotten how much chat could happen in ten days! Beautiful quilts, baskets.. The creativity and talent amazes me every time!.. To everyone suffering , I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. to all those sick and tired of snow, we are supposed to have another 4 inches tonight. It's really getting old... I have been hand quilting slow

    Thanks Patti. Yes he is an entomologist. What I am hoping for is to get fabric with butterflies or dragonflies in those colours. Those are her fiancee's colours.

    Thank you everyone for the nice compliments on my Dino quilt. It was very fun to make. I got the Dino panel on sale and once I had a baby for it, found fabrics to match...and voila! Thea I sometimes press the seams to one side and other times I press them open. This all depends on how many seams are intersecting. I try to avoid adding bulk in those
