I'm not sure when it was made and not exactly sure by whom , since the story keeps changing. I don't want to just fold it up, as this is exactly what happened to it. My mom had it in a closet for years when I found it and asked for it. I had it on a quilt rack for awhile but then I was concerned about the wear getting worse so I too folded it

I've thought about doing that as there some parts that look like they are in perfect shape but just can't get myself to cut into it though.

Thank you, I'll look into that. I just don't know if it's worth fix or if it will cost too much to fix.

It's mainly worn. The fabric feels very thin and soft. And then I think it tore as it thinned. Here is a closer photo. It also shows one of the few stains.

This old quilt is in really bad shape. I quilt but I would be afraid to even try to repair. We think my Grandmother or her mother made it. I have some other photos that have closer up views. I just don't know what to do with it. You'll see the peach mid boarder where there is white....well that's the batting. The fabric is just worn through
