  • Medallion Quilt

I made this this 60" x 60" lap quilt for my husband, Joe. He selected the focus fabric. The Medallion Quilt pattern was designed by Edyta Sitar for Laundry Basket Quilts. I used Thangles to make the half square triangles. I long arm quilted it using the Plush Plumes pantograph.

  • Civil Repro - Odds & Ends

I had been collecting civil war reproduction fabrics simply because I liked them. When I saw Jill Reid's pattern Odds & Ends I knew it was a perfect way to pull them together into a 105" x 105" quilt. It is a Shoofly Variation block within a Sawtooth Star block. I long arm quilted it using the Plush Plumes pantograph from Golden Threads

  • Getting Ready...

I made this large 72" x 72" lap quilt for my son and daughter-in-law. They choose the fabrics with me during a shop hop. Will give it to them at Thanksgiving. I long arm quilted it with a snow flake pattern. (See photo '...for Christmas' for a different color way.)

  • Mom's Doilies

This 50" x 60" quilt is made from doilies from my Mom's estate. I adapted the Lady's Zinnia's Fan pattern from the November 2002 issue of The Quilter Magazine . The fan's tassels are made of leftover floss from past embroidery projects. I did the quilting. It is the first time I tried to make feathers using the longarm machine

  • Scrappy Stars

This was a fun pattern to mix & match pink and green fabrics leftover from other projects.

  • My Dahlia

This quilt pattern was on my bucket list. I used Quiltsmart pattern/instructions and longarm quilted it with the 'Grandma's Roses' pattern by Tammy Finkler. My husband was sweet to hold it up for the photograph.

Easy string piecing on muslin produced mirror image blocks - good stash buster.

  • Holiday -view 2

Used 'Magic Tiles' pattern by Kathleen Bissett. The nine patch blocks were challenging because of the angled pieces. Fabric is the 'Jack Frost' medley from Keepsake Quilting. Enjoyed the QCA member discount. Husband arranged blocks so that same fabrics did not meet. There are also eight reindeer in the quilt all right side up. I long
