I should mention that ALL Rulers are not created equal. I have a gazillion different rulers and templates in my arsenal. BUT I found that the majority are there taking up space on my ruler tamer or wood blocks. Hum it is all in the marketing. Anyway I have a few go to for ever thing and one of these is the EZ angle II ruler. Recently I placed the HST

Debbie, when I was learning to do HST and QST they frustrated me as well, However, over the past several years I found that I use them in nearly every quilt I make. I look for the flying geese patterns and HST methods are used there as well. If you are practicing on the fabrics you recently purchased that is fine. When you have found the method you

However , y'all know what a stickler I am when it comes to straightening the grain before cutting. OK well that said I was in a hurry this morning to cut some 2.5" solids so I pulled out the yard

Hi Roxana, & HST makers, I found another NEW tool/ ruler by Creative Grids. I am not saying anyone has to use it, just giving out the information for this neat 7/8th" measurement ruler. The ruler eighths are not too clear for our older eyes, or even if you have young eyes.. lol sorry that should read other rulers are hard to read the eighth

Hi Marie, oh my simple basic tote is so easy I use three layers, base fabric, lining fabric and a structured inner stabilizer, I like the fusible fleece but there are so many to choose from. The measurements are 20" x WOF of course if the fabric is directional then you have to cut it different. Layer these and quilt with a simple cross or squares
