Barbara, even though I have not been able to be an active member the example are great that you provided and this one is the best of all and shows the great progress you have made in FMQ. To watch how you have grown in FMW has been fun to watch and I hope to soon move to an active member. Sheila

Karen, I would like to introduce myself, I am Sheila and I live in Michigan's beautiful UP. Would you sell the machine without the frame? I already have a Grace frame which is large enough for king size quilts. Presently I use a home sewing machine and I would be interested in the machine, could you send a picture and the price. Sheila

Barbara, When I first joined FMQ I looked forward to checking FMQ, to see what was new, I learned so much from everyone sharing and helping each other, and I look forward to FMQ once again and meeting more quilting friends. Thank You Barbara for taking us on! Sheila

Sharon it sounds like you have had your hands full. Glad to hear your Mom is home, I will be praying for her and your family.

Welcome Ann! A Spring Needle is a needle with a spring on it that you do not need to use a foot with when doing fmq. The spring keeps the material from staying on the needle. This allows you to see what you are doing better. There is also a description of it in the discussion pages.

Johanne, thank you for your help and support. I have it working and just need to get the top thread from showing on the back and more practice.

Sharon, Great news, I have the spring needle working! I still have top thread showing on the back and will continue to work on that. It is fun and different and will take some getting used too. Thanks for your help.
