    Hi Everyone,Happy New Year :-) I am not a new beginner, more of an intermediate quilter. My guild makes quilts of valor to give to our local veterans. The size for the quilts must be 36x45. Does anyone have a pattern (preferably easy) that I can use. I have looked online but didn't find anything I liked or the size was much bigger and I wasn't

    I am celebrating the completion of my 7th quilt. Although I am not squeaky new, I am still learning. I would appreciate any feedback I can get on the quilting software programs that are available. I us a PC. I do subscribe to quilt magazines but I also would like to explore my own "patterns".     Hi Lorraine, As an Ohio State Alumni I have a great deal of pride about the Buckeyes, yes, even in their time of troubles. I suggest you try Red Rooster Fabrics in Delaware Ohio (just north of Columbus). Or Quilt Beginnings also located in Columbus. I buy a lot of fabric and patterns at both of these shops and the Ohio State fabric is usually in abundance

    You know, I loved the original Fons and Porter. I miss Liz's calm voice and reassuring words that even a novice could make a beautiful quilt. I am glad that Marianne is hanging in there and my advice to Mary is to "tone your volume down a bit" and cherish the lessons given by your mother. Stella
