  • Re: Did you work on a quilt today #10

Hey, CC. I would like to see if there is room in the Montana retreat (always supposing I get my passport renewed in time). I left a message on your phone and the retreat board but I didn't get a reply.

As much as I would like to come to the retreat I'm sorry to see Quiltless dropping out. Can anyone tell me if there is a spot or has her place been taken by a waiting list.

Judy, Elenore does have good instructions but I got stuck on the birds in the air and put it away. I can do it now but then...not so much. Looking forward to finishing it. My first "hard" quilt is still waiting to be quilted. Love it but I had to buy a longarm and practice to figure out how I wanted it quilted.

When your new, and not so new, it really helps to pin it well. Do not sew over the pins though. Hard on needles you should have a clear picture when your done pinning of whether it will pucker or not. Easier to unpinned than "frogit" ripit ripit

Best wishes Bonita, it's always good when family gets together. I was in the city yesterday for an appointment and while I was there, shopped for thread for a client who has chosen a specific color for her quilting. Not only could I not find the color, the King Tut thread I was looking at on line for 14.99 a cone is 21.99 here. I still couldn't
