Barbara, I am a nurse so I know what it is like to take care of someone as ill as your Don. Do not feel guilty. You did the very best you could do and it is just so much work for one person to handle. When they get confused and combative you just can't do it alone. You did your very best. I applaud you for your courage and strength to do what you

My heart really goes out to you. Makes me think back to the time I went through it with my little Peaches. She was the love of my life. I can really understand how you are feeling. My prayers are with you and Tyler. Hildur

I am fairly new to this. I keep seeing references to pictures being posted somewhere. I am assuming form this post that you have a new cabinet and there is a picture of it posted somewhere. On multiple posts I have seen this reference to pictures. Where do I go to see some of these pictures? I have gone to the show and tell gallery but don't see

Forgive my ignorance. Who or what is Gourdo Gato and what kind of patterns? I would love to know. Always looking for something new. Hildur

  • Re: Do you have QUILTY RESOLUTIONS FOR 2011?

That is something I really need to start also. I have made all these quilts and wall hangings that I have given away and have no record of my work. Someone will ask, "How long did it take you to make that?" and I have no idea because I have no records. Nothing written or documented even in the computer. Dummy me. Hildur

I also have a Bernina which is a front load bobbin. I have to agree with Nana. It makes it easier to change the bobbin and I really do love the feature of being able to adjust the tension of the bobbin case. I keep a second bobbin case to use with especially thick, decorative threads. Of the top load bobbin machines I have had, I would have to remove

I just found out about this thread. Very interesting. I have 3 rescue babies and I feel like you, Granny M. It really upsets me when I think of the way my babies were treated before they came to live with me. Now they are fed well, not sick anymore, not used and abused and then just dumped on the side of the road to die. Now they are just loved to death
