Judy, I've discovered the best way to go to those kind of sales is with cash. I would buy way too much if I had my credit card and/or checkbook. I'm a big sucker for a great fabric sale.

How about bating/quilting on one side and just fabric on the side you will put against your body. I would think the batting would insulate it a little to maybe keep it cold longer.
