    Hi Everybody! I'm a hobby quilter of approx 4 years (as I have a full time job and 2 full time kids!) I have owned a Voyager 17 on the Hinty Stretch frame for about a year now. I just purchased the Stitch Length Regulator for it a month ago. I'm very happy with it when it works, but lately, I'm frustrated with it. Long Story Short.... Hinty

  • Ordered the SLR for my Voyager 17 :-)

    I just ordered the SLR and had to order the upgraded carriage package because the machine and frame were purchased back in 2007. I should get it sometime next week. I was just wondering if anyone has done this upgrade and are there any pointers you may have for me? I appreciate any info you can send my way. I know I can call the Hinterberg/Nolting folks

    Welcome Linda, I'm new too! I have not had the pleasure of sewing on a vintage machine, but would love to try it someday. I have a Janome MC6600 which I adore, and a Janopme Gem to take to classes. I also own a Voyager 17 with the Hinterberg stretch frame for quilting. I'm a hobbyist so this is more than enough for me at the moment. Someday

    Hi Susan! Yes that is my voyager/hinterberg stretch setup. I bought it used on craigslist last year! What a find for me! I've only been sewing with it since this past summer. I think I want to invest in the SLR, I'm getting frustrated with some of the patterns I want to learn and not having the SLR is making it difficult! The Accuquilt Go was

    Yesterday and part of today, I spent organizing my studio! I found two "pigs" (Projects in grocery bags) that I forgot I had! I also loaded my voyager/hinterburg setup and will be practicing longarm patterns today! See you all later! Have a wonderfully blessed day!
