Darling pattern, Judy and I like Donna B's suggestion of the grass. Jacy, no, you aren't the only one who gets distracted and jumps into something new. I look around my sewing room and see all the partially finished projects and just shake my head. What is a gal to do but go with the flow? If I lived to 150 and was in the shape I am in now,
It looks like I'm bringing up the rear on this one. What is the "deadline" for completion on this?
I doubt you are bringing up the rear on this project - lots of us never finish them. I still haveMQ7 and the July Scrappy that are not done. Hopefully this summer will end and they will actually be done

Thanks Judy & Dogs, Jen, and Helen for your comments on my top. I am glad it is done. Debbie-Do - You are so right! I probably copied the idea from you and didn't even realize it. I pray that the doctors use every trick in the book to get your fellows back up and running very

I finally got my borders on - very plain but I like the larger 9 patch in the corners, I would like to make this pattern again but enlarge all the pieces like I did for the 9 patch. I used 1 1/2" strips and ended up with a 3" finished 9 patch. I probably would screw up alot of the measurements by tweaking this pattern but should end up with
Last, but not least, here is my MQ8 - #5. Two of my quilts (including this one) were made using bona fide border fabrics; I had 20 yds. of each color of these fabrics for quite awhile, so Thank You Nana for giving me an opportunity to finally use these! (The light color, border, binding, and backing are all from one bolt
Thanks Judy EE, she's one of my oldest and best friends. We go back 60 years. And, Sheila, no I ain't making another one. Love the pattern but once was enough. Well, maybe.
Judy - don't you just love it when you make something for someone and they are just so amazed and appreciative? I
