Thanks Barbara. I'm sorry you have been ill and hope you are well on the mend. I have health problems and often find myself down for days at a time so I certainly understand. I look forward to becoming an active participant in this little part of the quilting world! Colleen

Oh my! I actually have a friend who paid GOOD money for the top fabric! lol She made luggage tags out of it. Needless to say, her luggage gets quite a few looks, but never gets lost! haha

Thanks for the good encouragement and understanding when I am feeling a little guilt. "Guilt be gone!". haha Please feel free to share any geneology tips. I am new at this but find it extremely interesting. As a matter of fact, I found a lady about 1/2 hour from me who did extensive research on my mom's side of the family and has same

Your my new BFF! I love you! Seriously, thank you for the encouragement. I needed it Gini. I'll be sure to post pixs as my UFOs turn to completed projects! You put a big smile on my face today and considering it's raining, damp and overcase, it was a nice bright spot to the day! You are a dear!

Very nice! And, well, being a scrapbooker, the story behind the quilt makes it so much more meaningful.

Yes, Karla, although I usually call it a "good" addiction! lol I also like to scrapbook, rubber stamp and am interested in genealogy and photography! I have to admit though, right now, quilting is my #1 love of all my hobbies. Although I have way too much stash for a "newbie" (just learned about 2 1/2 years ago). I really must stop

Thanks Spudgrandma (love your name). I plan on it! I need to get into action and get some things done. I did exactly what people told me NOT to do and have so many projects that I sometimes find myself overwhelmed as to what to work on. Silly, isn't it? I also have some health problems and that plays a factor too, but I must say just learning these

Thank you. And I must say, yes I've been signed up for a while now, but haven't gotten on the site much. I actually went out to express my sorrow Gini at your news of your aunt being sick. I am not so familiar with the site so I couldn't find the actual post, so of course, as us women do, I got distracted and started looking around. I welcome

Thank you for this info. I am new to paper piecing, but it looks very interesting and I'm giving it a try on a small project someone gave me. I will look at the class on Craftsy -- I can use all the help I can get! Appreciate your sharing. Colleen
