  • Star Quilt Back

This is the back of my star quilt. No, I didn't make a mistake and cover it with a piece of non-matching fabric in the lower left corner...lol. The guild rules state that we had to attach a label then cover it with another piece of fabric until after judging is complete. The fabric is a home dec fabric of fairly heavy weight but I couldn't resist

  • Filigree Stars

Hi All! Been SO busy so I apologize for not posting more often. Here's my latest project completed. This is a challenge quilt from one of my guilds. The theme was "Stars, Stars, Stars!" and the challenge fabric was lamé. I used original blocks with a lone star. This quilt is entirely quilted on a domestic sewing machine. I used

  • Re: Organizing blocks

Great tip although you won't find many skirt hangers in my house...lol. • Door Close up

I didn't figure out how to post multiple pics so I had to add separately. This is a close up showing the "moss" in the cracks of the pavers.

  • It's DONE!

WHEW!! I have to say the door is DONE! (At least until some judge says they don't like something at which time I'll rip it all apart...lol!) I included a close up to show the "moss" in the cracks of the pavers.

  • Door Update!

Binding is done and vines and leaves are sewn on. Have to trim off threads from right hand leaves. Last thing to do is put "grass" and "twigs" below the door. Almost done with this quilt. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
