  • Re: How do you store your rulers for easy access?

I bought a peg board from home depot for about $13 then painted it pink (my sewing room colors are yellow, sea glass and a splash of pink) then I bought all the metal holders - you can buy baskets and a bunch of different things for it. I need the basket for some stuff I cant hang (my rag quilt scissors and small rotary cutters). this is the most handy

  • merry christmas to me!

this is the same pattern as Bowyn's stars. I love this pattern, it is easy and super fast. I used all sorts of beautiful red and green christmas fabric that has gold accents. This is the first quilt I have made for myself! I just finished it last week. I stayed up late the night I finished it so I could take it out of the dryer and snuggle with

  • lakeside fire

I made this quilt for my mom and dad. It was intended for their camper but my mom told me she wants to use it all the time so it is in their house. I love this quilt. I used tonga treats and a pattern called sea glass from my quilt shop. I am very happy with this quilt - learned how to do flying geese - my first few didnt turn out so well but was still

I made this for my BIL Jason and his wife. They just had a girl a few weeks ago. So glad they had a girl! Once I got the quilt together it was

  • Delaney's cross

I made this for my husbands best friend and his wife. They were expecting and didnt know the sex. They are pretty country and religious so I stuck with the tans, blues, reds and greens and I love how the crosses "pop". I really love this quilt. stipple in the middle and L's and E's doubled up (on top of each other) on the border. I

  • Bowyn's stars

This is the replacement blanket for the 2 from 1 jelly roll quilt I made (made the 2 from 1 and decided to keep it so had to come up with another quilt for my BIL) I love the soft blues and pinks in this beautiful floral fabric. This is such an easy pattern - dont have to worry about the points on the stars being perfect. I have used this pattern many

  • scrappy scraps table runner

I used the corner scraps from my Tiffany Diamons quilt to make this - I made 2 of the same Tiffany quilts and this is the scraps from one of them, I still need to add the scraps from the other on to this and I just decided I will make it into a table runner. FYI - I hate pinwheels - haha
