I think I remember from college (which was a long time ago) that nail polish remover will melt polyester. Anyone else know if that is so? I think it will clean melted poly blends off your iron too. Again, it's been a looonnnnng time.

They're there but if you want the newest ones you're better off going to Eleanor's web site. I don't watch the videos much. I did when I first joined but after I watched most of them I realized a lot of them didn't interest me. It is still nice to have them though. Welcome.

Wonderful. I recently bought my first and then shortly after my second (First a black, second a white). You will love it. It's so teeny and easy to sew on.

I have not but I would like to. I was watching Psych one night and they were in a commune. The quilts were crocheted on top with looked like fleece backing. A light bulb went on and I said AHA! If you do so please post pictures.

I have a sweet 16. I can't stand for long periods of time. I love it. You build muscles in your arms though if you make a lot of big quilts, queens or kings. Otherwise I do well with it. I tears through fleece like nobody's business. It likes Superbob bobbins and King Tut thread unless you like to fiddle with the tension (I don't).

I always use fusible and my quilts are washable. Mostly baby quits. Yours should be fine.
