  • cutting up yardage

I have 3 1/2 yards for the background of the quilt I am working on. I am wondering if I wrestle w/it all or can I cut into more manageable pieces. I am cutting lots of strips and squares . . . I just don't want to waste fabric! Thanks in advance!

Went to the AQS quilt show yesterday in Des Moines. It was great as usual! Wish I didn't have this cold, but had fun anyway. Took two friends who had never been and they want to go back next year! Got some more fabric for my stash. Took about 5 hours to get thru it all. They changed some things from last year, like where lunch was. Took some pics
