I don't know if you were around for MQ3 but there was an error in the directions and everybody cut 180 HST when we only needed 60. I was only trying to be helpful but a "wise cracker" like you certainly ruins the excitement and anticipation for MQV. Good luck everyone I hope Karyn didn't ruin it for you too.

barblarson: I see we are to cut a lot of the background into ultimately 2'5" squares. Is there going to be a way to "speed sew" and then cut to avoid handeling 390 separate 2.5" squares? barblarson - I hope you reread the number of background squares we were to cut. It is 320 not 390. Wouldn't it actually be 320 (background

Thanks to Debra and Stephanie, the visual really helped. I have started cutting my worms but I am also working on a Christmas quilt at the same time. Maybe that is why I was having trouble understanding.

Is anyone else confused by these directions? If I am going to make the smaller quilt will I have six groups? Six groups with an A - B - C in each group?
