Here was my corner at the retreat. There were 9 of us all related!!! my mother-in-law, an Aunt, myself (who is only married into the family) and 6 cousins (my husbands girl cousins not mine) We had a really good time. it was for 3 days. This was our 3 year getting together. Last year we had 13 of us.

It is also reversiable- but my inside is only solid black

the one on the left is a book bag. the one on the right needs black buttons sewn on the front to be really finished. And of course I never do anything simple the book bag was to be made from non- directional fabric!!!. I had to cut my panel print or the boats and trees would of been upside down on the back. I never think first then do I do and then

this pattern is in the McCalls Quilt magazine that was just out. fun and simple to make - uses 4 fat quarters and a fat quarter size of batting. I need to finish hand stitching the top centers shut. that is were you turn them inside right. I hate hand work.
