    Marie, My parents being brought up in that era raised us with a few of those things. Like bathe once a week, in a household bath tub. Filled once. You definitely wanted to be the first in. As the youngest I usually was. I used to sneak over to friends houses on the way home from school just so I could wash up some while "using their bathroom"

    Debbie, Set it up in an Excel worksheet. You can even put the names out in the first column and have it add it at the bottoms of all the columns. I might be able to walk you through it if you are not familiar with Excel, but I don't have it on the home computer at this time. Jan

    Gini, DH is overly sensitive about things being "equal" or him "being part" of the family. So after I made the 3 quilts for Christmas last year for our children and the 2 for the grand daughters, I knew he needed to be in the line up pretty quickly.     Gini, I am really liking the outcomes.Letting the needle do more of the turning on its own instead of forcing it with finger nail or thumb nail and it has become fun. DH has fallen in love with them. When I told him I had plans to finish it for Christmas for DIL he had a huge frown and sighed. He asked if I could be talked into making something else

    I didn't like the way the tulip went over the house so I changed it up a bit. Then there was all this blank space at the top so I changed it again. Now it is done. Jan
