I joined the group and will sign up for the pattern. It seems like I did this last year and was able to download. I just didn't get it done because I was working alone and on scraps. I still may do scraps but I think I may go with DA fabric. A shop near by has the fabrics. Can't think about it until after Christmas. I agree 100% about not sharing
hi everyone thanks for the warm welcome backs I have missed all of you as well
Barbara, it is SO GOOD to see you posting again on QCA. I'm glad to know you are sewing again. If you find yourself needing a UFO to finish, just let me know and I'll send one your way! Ha! Ha!

I tried to do this one last year but must admit I didn't watch the videos to "understand" her method of measurements. Once you pay, is the pattern a pdf download? I can't remember.

Who knows, with Barbara coming back, maybe the flood gates will open and others will appear. A big plus is QCA Rachel taking the time and effort to energize us. I'm in for UFO's for next year. Scrap quilts for charity (if they are small lap size) is a wonderful idea such

I only know enough to be dangerous. I'd love to see us work through the lessons provided with the software and compare notes and ask questions. I agree with MizPat. let's revive this group!

The Stash-Down sounds like a lot of fun..... especially if we posted our progress and projects. Would we keep up with fabric used? Would there be a chart updated monthly so we could all stay motivated? One site I have visited also calls for check-in's so I think a monthly (at the least) check in would be a plus toward the prize. Sounds like we have

Looks like we need lots of Moderators! I'm guilty on the "reading" instead of "posting" category. I enjoy so much everyone posting what they have completed and talking about it. I miss a welcoming atmosphere when it comes to things I don't know how to do. I'm interested in participating in an UFO group and being more

Rachel, Judy T is trying to get a Quilt-a-Long group started that's already on the internet. I do think that's a great idea. Check her posts on "2015 English Manor MQ Dowton Abby"

Judy, I love the idea. I think it is important that members refresh themselves on the rules on the PAGES section of the swaps before they participate. I would suggest reading the hostess responsibilities even if you aren't hostessing.

I've also seen some great little gift ideas on the internet since we are so close to Christmas that would be great. .... purses ... iPad, Smart Phone Bean Bag stands ... luggage tags ... casserole bowl covers I know I have seen more.... We just have to be careful of copyright status...
