• Re: Mystery Quilt Step #3- Making 4 Patch Units

Thanks, Betty. You are too kind. Thanks also to Debi, Judy, and Diane for posting pictures of what you have completed so far. I love each of your fabrics and the visual helps the rest of us know what we should have. I'm still on Step 2 but trying to catch up before the end of the week!

I think it was just $12 or $13. The store charged the same for the kit and then around $2 or $3 for the pattern. Some are charging a lot more so I didn't try on theirs. Only the store in Harrison, AR, had a cute enough row and kit to buy of the three I saw. I didn't make it everywhere up north in the state. I hope that helps.

Yes, if they are really good. There's a store in Nebraska that has a very realistic stalk of corn. I've already preordered it. November will be here soon enough. I'm just trying to find out which other rows are worth the money. Any suggestions?

Jen, I'm confuse as to how many of the strips I should cut from each fabric for the 6-block quilt . I understand that I will make 24 of the 2-color Four Patches and 48 of the 3-color Four Patches. I'm going to guess that it is 1/3 of the amount required for the quilt QCARachel is giving instructions for since in step 2, we made 1/3 the amount

I get diagrams when I download the PDF but is that just because I created it? Can someone try it and let me know if it worked?
Yes, that's the one I have. I didn't even know about Mimi's pattern until today. MookieGirl
Monica, I found another plate pattern but this one is a kit and uses only one plate. I can see where the three can be adapted into one pattern though. That's just by looking at the picture. Anyway,
