This is another Patrick Lose pattern, from his Blocks for All Seasons line. His was done in reds and pinks, but I couldn't resist doing a Pittsburgh twist on the colors. It is approx. 12x12".

While on a shop hop this year, I purchased a kit to make this small sheep quilt. It is about 11"x18". The sheep are appliqued and I used all the fabrics in the kit except for the turquoise cornerstones, which came from my stash. This mini quilt is a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. The embroidery is from Embroidery Library (Silent Night Square) and is approx. 6" square. The overall size of the quilt is about 16" square. I outlined the embroidery and then did a large meander on my longarm machine to quilt it.

Tote bag has 6 paper-pieced cardinals. This took forever to make! I severely underestimated how long it would take to make it and I'm so glad that it's finally done! There is a cardinal Christmas pin on the front, in case anyone is wondering what that is! This will be a Christmas gift for my husband's aunt.

I made this quilt for a high school friend who has been battling a rare form of cancer for more than 25 years. This chalkboard placemat was a gift for our pastor's son. I'm not sure that he's ever been allowed to use the plate with the utensils that encourage you to play with your food, but he loves the placemat! :-D There are 2 pockets - one for a sponge eraser and one for chalk.
