  • Re: General Discussion

It's been so busy these past 2 weeks that I haven't started yet but will catch up quickly. Love MQ's but goofed up the last one when it said to put one pile aside for later use- of course, I put the wrong pile aside and couldn't figure out what went wrong! It still was a nice quilt- I just won't show anyone! Must get busy-

Hi, I'm hooked on mystery quilts and can hardly wait for this one to begin. As a grandma to three precious little ones I spend many hours quilting for them and love to work for the Project Linus group in our area. In the last mystery quilt 7 I goofed up on reading the directions and ended up with a "Happy Accident Quilt". No matter what

I've been so excited for this project that I have talked my quilting group into trying it, too. More loyal followers-super times!

I don't really think it would even be noticed but it would take away some guilt when I buy more fabric. My stash makes me smile on rainy days! Quilting is truly the best therapy out there. More folks should take it up and relax . . .

Still have to finish the remaining blocks for Step 4 but it is going to look pretty darn good for a scrappy. I think about a dozen of these MQ6 quilts might help take down my stash so when the next shop hop starts it'll be time to replenish!

I can relate to your computer technical talents. Hopefully I, too, can figure out how to post my finished product. This really is a terrific forum to chat with when needing support. Just finished Step 4 and loving this quilt.

I don't know what I did wrong when pressing the 4-patches but some went left, some went right and now it's time to resew and press. Did anyone else run into this so that the Step 4 won't nest properly? I'd still rather do this than clean house!
