It's great that we are still best friends after all of the things that life brings us each day. I feel that we grow stronger with the bumps that happen throught out the years.
Enjoy your celebration with your son
Marsha, good luck with your surgery. Remember to keep us posted.
Thank you everyone for your good wishes for my surgery. That day can't come soon enough. If I sit in the truck too long my knee locks up and won't straighten without a lot of pain and I can't put weight on it. I don't think the pain

I just had an interesting 2 1/2 hours catching up here. I hadn't checked in here since Dec. 11th. It was good to see how everyone is doing. Lots of lovely projects. Hope everyone who has been sick or had surgery are now well and having a nice, but cold winter. It is only about 0 here now but the sun is shining so it should be getting warmer today

That is the reason for the glum look on the bigger ones face. Who would ever think that a 9 month old would be able to get the best of a 3 yr old. Maybe
hope to hear from those interested soon
Barbara, good to see you back. I was just starting to FMQ when you were leading the group before, but didn't have the time to participate. I did get many tips that helped me when I did start. Instead of doing samples, I did my practicing of simple designs on some of

I have been enjoying my morning home seeing all your wonderful projects. I haven't had a chance to quilt all week. I had a half day yesterday but that was wasted getting a recall on our car done (supposed to be 1/2 hour) appointment was 2:30 and was finally done at 5:00. I got home after 6:00 and was too tired to do anything. My MQ 10s are still

Finally got back on here tonight and discovered my blocks for MQ10 failed to show up. Guess Rich hurried me too much Tuesday so I didn't wait long enough for the pictures to show up before posting. Happens all the time when he rushes me to get in the"torture machine" (the truck and trailer). Here they are - I hope. First is from stash
I feel the same way, Carol but I sure do miss some of the originals! I also joined QATW for a short time and found I couldn't navigate it as well as here. When I go there occasionally, I have to join again which basically keeps me from going there at all. QCA is my first love and I'm a stick to it gal.
I
