Update on my "quilt marathon"!! I have been without internet since last Friday. Our old dial-up modem was getting slower and slower so decided to upgrade to a new one. Bad idea! It didn't install properly and messed up the computer. After troubleshooting all weekend and finally calling Tech at Verizon, we both gave up after 2 hours on
For those that remember her, I got a call from Chicagosinger. She's doing better. Had a really bad heart attack a while back but is mending. She is finally able to sit at her machine for a little bit each day, but cannot yet manage the computer. She's working on it so she can get back to us soon! She wanted me
Marsha - I was put on a real high dose of Vitamin D a few years back by one of my many at the time RA doctors - and could not believe the difference in my fatique level - you might talk to your doctor about that and see if it might help you - I believe but could really be wrong but was on 10,000 mgs per day for one month

Bad internet day for me. Google doesn't work, Yahoo doesn't work so e-mail doesn't work. Chrome search page does work (but search doesn't) so was able to get on here to read what I have missed since July 4th through an direct link. This site is very slow, but does work. Had a post all typed earlier and tried to post it, but our whole

The quilting is going slow on the graduation quilts. I am finishing last border on first quilt tonight - just 3 feet to go but back and arms wouldn't let me finish. I used 3 bobbins of thread at this session - usually just last through one. This is the longest I have been able to sit at the machine in quite a while. Usually I just work about 20

Didn't get much done on quilt today - chatty daughter from PA came in and I couldn't concentrate on both her and the quilt, so got only 1 1/2 blocks done. Hope to get to it now after I get in the shower. Feel very sticky after graduation party this afternoon, so need to get that washed off first. Grandson hasn't opened his quilt top to see
If you really want a flat bat I would suggest buying the quilters dream bat and get the request - it is really thin and will leave your quilt or wall hanging very flat without having to prewash - prewashing bats just scares me...
Thea, Agnes and Springermom, I also would never wash a quilt batt. If I have a batt
Don't you as a quilter have the eye to see pictures on a wall that are crooked and what to fix them because the quilter's eye and brain picks up these small differences?
Agnes, that is me. It drives me nuts to see something hung a little crooked. Of course, my pictures don't always remain straight
Marsha, sounds like you are bouceing with energry!๐Ÿ˜Š
Deb, My "bounce" is everyone else's crawl. I wish I did have energy. The mind bounces with energy, but the body can't keep up. Sometimes I can only spend 15 min. at a time at the machine, others 1 hour. I just sew fast. I have been sewing by hand
