I was exciled!! I've not a clue where I was or why I was there, but apperently I was naughty and they banned me. Every time I tried to log I was informed that access was denied to Chocake2. Sad sad me... If someone will tell me what I did that was so awful that I needed grounding all weekend, I promise I won't
I couldn't find CC's post where she showed her toothberry beads, it seems to have disappeared. I think it was on the same day all those pranksters were on here. Do you think she could have accidentally gotten banned along with all of those guys?
I haven't been able to find ANY of CC's posts. I figured

Just got the time to skim quickly over 1 weeks posts. Love all the quilts. Don't have time now to comment on each one. I got time this weekend to finally work on MQ8 and got the borders ready to attach. Added the first, then one strip of muslin for 2nd. When I got to the first seam of the second border strip, I discovered I was sewing it on back

I thought this time I was finally going to finish a mystery on time!!! No such luck! I have had something going every day this week and Rich now wants me to go with him to his appt for his checkup on his knee, then go grocery shopping tomorrow. Dr's office is 50 miles away and the grocery store is about 30 miles away in the opposite direction! There
not really sure if I'm going to add more or not,
Unless you want a larger quilt, I think I would just bind with the teal and leave it as is. I love your border. Judy, I am blind! I see now it is a pair of HSTs twisted the wrong way, not just one. Not hard to fix, but aggrivating after having the top completed
Then, just took another photo and felt like crying. Can you see it?
Sorry, Judy - - - it just jumped out at me, just like the one I caught on mine while sewing the segments. At least I caught mine sooner! It is just one little HST, BUT - - - much harder when the quilt is assembled. I love how you changed
Just love this pattern. I realized how much when I was ironing the top, just so much going on.
I love your muted colors and the reversing is perfect with them. This pattern can be used in so many color combinationa both as directed and reversed.
I have the last seam to sew on the last 19 blocks, then pressing and sashing next! Hope to be able to get to assembly tomorrow.
Best laid plans - - - - - - - I thought I would get some sleep this morning then on to sewing! Ha-ha-ha! On-the-road-again - - - THREE trucking jobs - - - First hogs, and he needs my
was waiting to see how it looked before I bought border material and now have to go shopping.
Debbie, I love your reverse quilt - It just struck my eye this morning and I have been thinking all day that I need to make one in reverse also. I have several possible choices in my stash, and love this pattern so much
...and that's a lesson for everyone here... Take a photo of your quilt before working on the border. Ask someone else to look at your photo. We've been staring at these little pieces for far too long to spot the HSTs that are pointing the wrong way! Aaarghhh!
Good idea, Nancy. Sorry for all the oops
