Congratulations, Grandma! and loads of love, Lucy, to both you and your baby. We need pictures when you are settled in with the little one Don"t rush, but don't forget us either in all the new baby chaos..

Sheila, I love your quilt. The sashing really sets it off. We "old ladies" just seem to have to get it done ourselves. You know how close I came to be one of the injured the day I first tried to take a picture of mine - nearly tumbled along with my swing frame over the deck railing. I guess I must have put too much weight against the top of

Here is one very late poor picture of my quilt. Debi, I almost joined you in the injured category yesterday - While I was trying to pin the quilt to the old swing frame I had tied to the deck railing to take a picture, it decided to escape over the railing and I almost went with it. The frame now sits on the lawn and is too short to hang quilts on
I (at 55years old) decided to try to drive my husband's quad bike yesterday..... I ended up in hospital with a cracked rib, several bruises, my knee in a brace, and on bed rest for a few days.
Careful with those "Big Boy Toys"!!! They BITE. Hope you are feeling much better - broken rib - OUCH! Try not

Thank you Helen and Sheila. This is the first time I have been able to get actual colors to show on the computer. The flash washes out the colors and the blues overpower the yellow so I used my photo program to darken the picture and remove some of the blue (which accents the yellow). I have had to do this wilh all pictures I take - probably a camera
Thanks for your opinion Marsha, very much appreciated. I am exhausted just reading all about moving cattle. A lot of hard work.
I don't do much of the physical work and Rich just does the driving and a small amount of cattle handling. We are both too old and out of shape to do any of the "heavy lifting"

Helen, I agree with Debi - I like the airiness of the second layout using both blocks. I am not a purple person, but I love your purples, especially your background. I hope to get working on my quilt this afternoon - what's left of it. Had a 2 hour dentist appointment with a 45 minute trip each way yesterday and just flopped in front of the TV when

I contacted Mary Ann at admin. on August 25. I gave her a detailed list of many, many spammers and she deleted most of them. Here is a copy of one e-mail back and forth about this - I could do this every day and so could she, but they seem to become members - I think only 3 or 4 - changing names every time they post. I wish there was a way to stop them

Beautiful fur babies. I thought Zoe was a dog, but she was so comfortable on your quilt that I wasn't sure whether she was a dog or cat! Henry looks like 2 of our grand-daughters' dogs. One has one and the other has 2. I have never seen a pharaoh hound before. He has such big, perky ears!! I wish we had house pets, but somehow on the farm cats

Debi, you surely wouldn't want a bear hug from me - I am a sturdy 5'8 and still quite strong even though fibromyalgia has taken much of my strength. Here is one of my clue 4. Need to finish a few more then play with the rest of the clues. I spent too much time on the computer earlier today, so didn't get as much done as I wanted. I needed
