Patricia Faye, Your baskets are a very ambitious project, especially doing needle-turn. To me, that is the only form of real applique. I haven't done any for many years. I am not a fan of making baskets, so didn't attempt this one. You have done a beautiful job on this quilt. Enjoy that grand-baby -
will

Carol, congratulations in getting so far on your LUS. I can't wait to see it. I think you used many of the same fabric collection that I did. Mine is still in several project bags tempting me, but I get only a few seams done on it at a time. It would have probably been done by now if I had done it by machine, but this is going to be an heirloom
Good to hear from you Marsha. It has been quite a while since you have been on and I was wondering how things were going with your knee.
Ginny, my knee is so much better than the worn out one. My fibromyalgia was feeding on that pain and there was nothing that really helped. It is so good to hardly take any pain
I have been working on the MQ #11 today but wanted to share what I completed yesterday. It's my MQ #8! Finally finished!
Carol, I love the border on your MQ 8. It is similar to the backing I have for my first MQ 8 (it still needs to be quilted and is college dorm size - twice the size of the original). I

Have been waiting for a new Mystery Quilt. In the meantime, I have done several MQ 8s - last two are ready for quilting whenever I have the strength. Fibromyalgia has been nearly unbearable this summer and am still recovering from knee replacement in January.
