Judy, I just love how Winnie the Pooh turned out. Your choice of borders is just perfect!! They seem to unite the whole quilt without overpowering anything. I decided to take a break from my quilting and see what everyone else was doing. I looked at the pictures and read all last night but was too tired and foggy-brained to type. I did respond on another
I finally finished my MQ10 except for the binding...how many months has it been over???...Oh well better late than never.......
At least yours is done. My 2 are sitting in pieces in baskets waiting to be finished. I got a few blocks done of each so that I could take pictures to post and then put them aside before
Are some of them paper pieced?
Diana, Love your pinwheel quilt. Some child is going love cuddling up in this quilt and all the others you are going to make. I have thought of making quilts for Project Linus, but seem to have more on my plate now than I can handle. No, none of these blocks are

Judy, Love the chickens. It tempts me to make one with the different breeds of hens I used to raise. Sure should do well at the auction. Donna, So many wonderful projects. I used to make crocheted shoes for my 3 girls many, many years ago (they are all in their 50s now). I also made shoes with chained lacings and cowboy boots for the boys. I don't

Finally getting back to quilting. I can sit at sewing machine for over an hour and can actually get up out of the chair as long as I have something sturdy near-by to boost me up. I put a line up in wide doorway last week with clear picture hooks. Didn't get very straight so quilt tops ripple. I could reset hooks, but with my balance I would probably
We have noticed that the Bailey's is happy using old metal Singer bobbins?
I was warned that they might not be the exact same size, I have a huge collection of them because they also fit my ancient Kenmore. My 12 yr old Huskvarna Viking needs a repair man but haven't taken the time to look one

I have a Bailey 15 inch set up in a table as a sit-down machine. I cannot stand long enough without problems to use a machine with a frame. The reason I bought my machine is I have done business with Baileys since they first opened in Perry, NY many years ago. That was before he started making machines. He moved to another shop after Perry, but I never
Here's what I finished, I think this was MQ7
Debbie, This is MQ 8 - City Streets by Nana. It is my favorite although it has so many pieces. I have finished one for a graduation quilt for one granddaughter last year. The original was in deep rose and is still waiting to be sandwiched and quilted. Last year's

Finally got the taxes finished today - 11 pages Federal and 10 pages State!!! My knee is getting much better. I can't sit at the sewing machine because of the knee and Fibro - muscles tense up too much and make it hard for me to get out of my sewing machine chair. I have only done some much needed mending so far. All quilting has been by hand on

Bridaine, I love your blue maple leaves. I am not a large block person, but this makes me want to make one for myself. I have many leaf prints that I have collected over the years - I am partial to fall colors. I would use some type of cream for the background. I like the way you have accented with the dark blue.
