• Re: Did you work on a quilt today #10

Debbie, I love the fabrics you have chosen for your Mystery Quilt. I need to check this out so I can do it when I am able to sit at the sewing machine. I love looking at something and getting ideas and making it my own. Does anyone else do this or am I violating some quilting rule?
If there
I did actually work a BIT on my postcards (at least one of them.) I got the "filling" cut to size, the background cut and the pieces figured out where I want them. But I just couldn't find the energy to get to my machine. The family has decided that my sewing table is the catchall, and I didn't have the
Thanks for checking in, Marsha. You will find yourself doing more sleeping than normal. It is a way that your body says, "Whoa there, girl, not so fast, you need to heal.
I picked a beautiful caramel color for my sewing room and now I wish I had gone lighter.
Kathi, I usually go about 2 shades lighter than the color I really want. When that color gets on a large surface it will usually seem much darker - absorbs the light.. Your other idea of lighter on the other three walls
