Nana... I've looked at the Star of Bethlehem pattern, and it doesn't look the same. Do you think you could identify the pattern if I posted a picture of it? Maybe the author has it titled incorrectly...

I have what might possibly be a dumb question, but I just read The Quilters Holiday by Jennifer Chiaverinni, and inside the cover was a picture of a quilt block that I fell in love with. It was titled Star of the Magi. Has anyone ever heard of this pattern, or know where I could find the pattern???

I am thinking either emerald green or a dark inky blue (maybe midnight blue), but I don't have access to alot of fabric stores around here. Do any of you have any favorite brands, or possibly any specific fabrics that I can look up? I know what I'm looking for, I just don't know how to describe it. Maybe a marble type look with different

I was at Joanns yesterday, and I found the niftiest stuff!!! It is called Quilter's tape. It is exactly 1/4 inch wide, and you place it one one piece of your fabrics, and sew along the bottom edge of it. It is made by the Dritz company.

Hi everyone, I am new to quilting (well, I grew up under my grandmother's quilting frame), and am looking for ANY tips I can find. I am working on my first quilt.
