  • Re: Juki 2200 or Crown Jewel

Hi Duane, I have a Baby Lock Jewel and have loved her since day one! She has the Grace Pinnacle Frame and Quilt Motion software. I have decided to sell her because I now have 2 longarms. I purchased a much larger machine with 14ft frame because my customers have been bringing me larger and larger quilts. I was keeping Miss Jewel as a back up and to

HI Saddie, I also have a Tiara and love it as well. It sounds like you are very new to longarm quilting. First always keep your threading guide handy. Once you get it threaded properly, you can tie onto a new thread and gently tug it throught the thread path and end just before your needle. I had a wonderful lady explain tension to me in a new way and

Hi Celine, I think I know what the problem with your tension knob is...I had that problem on a new machine. Turn your tension knob to the left and loosen it by at least 4 turns and start over on adjusting your tension. The one that I had actually had the tension dial tightened so much that the thread could not get in! LOL! Give it a try, Judylee

Hi Christine, My favorite all time ruler is the Itsy Bitsy ruler by Off the edge quilting. It fits in my hand and I can slide it on the ruler base of my Miss Jewel and do continuous seams. It also has a small arch on the other side that make perfect Orange Peel and curve designs in smaller squares. Hope this helps judylee
