Gini I like the blue cornerstones, it softens the look. I would love to have seen you do the prairie points but wow that would have hard to match up with the half cornerstones on the end. Perhaps it will be easier to do them on the last border. Can't wait to see the applique, that is something I don't seem to have a knack for so love to see

Wow gals, Congratulations. All are beautiful and could not have been done without our wonderful Nana. Thank you again Nana.

Sorry to be so late welcoming you Prairiemom. Hope you and everyone is having a wonderful Mother's Day. I am posting the picture of the quilt that several of us took part in. One problem has been that none of the governmental types I have spoken to have the facilities to accept the quilt. I am wondering if anyone out there knows of someone that

Nana thank you so much. Here is one piece done. It is hard to tell but the red is only slightly lighter/brighter than the wall colour but the sun is coming through the window so it looks much lighter. I am almost done the second one just putting on the borders then I need to sandwich. They will make great blind s

LaDonna I love your corners and the name. Choosing one will be very hard. I am off to fabric stores this weekend to see if I can find more of my black to finish my borders.

Thank you for this great quilt Nana. I hope DH is well on the mend. I will not be posting mine because I have split it for roman blinds in my dining room. I had to make 3 extra blocks to get them long enough so am short fabric to border them and will not have it in time to post. I will post when I get them finished and hanging. I am trying to decide

Wow girls, it is amazing how the same pattern looks so different. It is hard to pick a favorite. I am doing mine as 2 roman blinds for my living room. Here is one and now I need to figure out how much of a border I need to make it fit. It needs more top and bottom than on the sides but that is okay. I will probably do a small red and then a larger black

Ah, it was not a video just a tutorial but I do that between each project. I also put a drop of oil in the center before putting the bobbin case back in. My dealer showed me how to do it when I bought the machine.

Barbara, I took a quick look at the site and found a fabulous pattern I want to do, it is the Dresden Plate with the twist. I will go back now and see if I can find the video. Thanks for showing us this site. It is now on my fav list.

Nana it is beautiful. I was hoping it would work out so that I could use it for roman blinds in my dining room. I have 2 smaller windows and I think if I may be able to do it if I make a few more blocks. Thanks again Nana it is great and had a fun and sometimes frustrating time putting all those little peices together.
