We had 3 children then 8 grandchildren and now we have 9 great-grandchildren.     Joni, I've made a tumbling block quilt but I've never seen one like the two pictures that you showed. WOW is right and you figured out how to do them. I'm really impressed.

    Hi Judy: I also like to pile up kits. I take them out every year and look at them and then I put them away. I did want to mention about the Janome information that you mentioned very interesting, The 1100 that is out sure does look interesting but It's probably more than I would want to spend. All the new machines seem to be running around $5000

    Francine I bought my sewing machine at a sewing machine store. Mine is called a New Home 9000 which is made by Janome. It was quite awhile ago and got it on sale. They told me it would be easy to use and it is. One thing that was nice they offered free classes on how to use my machine which was great. They've made a lot of new models since I bought

    gini, as one of my great grandsons would say which he says all the time) WHY? I bought some 1/8th and didn't know what to do with them altho I'm using them right now for yo-yos. In the quilting magazines I do see 1/8ths more often. How are you using them?
