Barbara, I love your prism quilt as I'm sure your daughter will. Is it difficult to do? I have a granddaughter who would like it also. Pat A. in KY

Is - it takes me a week to work up energy to everything I did all in one day. I still have housework to do but I'm still resting up. My back at least is feeling a bit better. All I got done yesterday is wash up the containers I'm using for freezing. Today I will fill them up and get into the freezer. After that I hope to get the binding on the

Carol, Your quilt is beautiful. And thank you Ladies for all of your input. It looks as if I will go with the darker blue for binding. I thought I had enough of the green (thought I had a yard) but when I spread it out I had apparently cut the inside border strips from this piece of fabric so only have about 1/2 yard. I measured and I think I might

Well Ladies, thanks for your votes. However, we need a tie breaker. Angele, the darker blue was also my favorite and Monica I also liked the green. I just can't seem to make up my mind between the two. The green seems to call more attention to the binding which is not necessarily a bad thing, but the blue is less contrast and since the quilt is

Elizabeth really like your flannel quilt. So warm and snugglely looking. Monica your quilt is really cute. Love the design and bright colors. Judy I love your fractured wall hanging. One of these days I think I would like to try one of those. I need some help. I have been playing with fabrics trying to decide on what I should use to bind my MQ6 with

Oh Thea so sorry to hear about your dental problems. My dentist told me several weeks ago that I was going to have a root canal but it turned out she didn't have to drill into the pulp to fix the cavity but I did need to get a crown. She had to drill so much there was risk of the tooth breaking. I did need to have a periodontal cleaning done because

Not sure what I will get done today. yesterday morning I gave 2 bedrooms a good cleaning and scrubbed down two bathrooms including the floors. In the afternoon I baked some chicken for chicken and dumplings and put together a lasagna and baked some brownies. Today my back hurts from being on my feet so much. I do plan on getting the C&D finished

you know I am ashamed to admit it but I haven't done diddlely squat today. I did bring in some firewood (we are supposed to get some snow tonight and tomorrow) and I did put on a pot of beef stew to which I have been adding veggies to all day and I did take a nap. Other than that, not a darn thing. Stew should be about ready so I think I will turn

I worked on two quilts today - an Irish Chain and Angie's Jacks. I had actually meant to do some housework (need a shovel) but decided I'd just mess the house up again. Made some more blocks for Angie's Jacks and squared up all the ones I had made and made another 6 -8 feet of Seminole border for the irish Chain. I think I finally have enough
