Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I used a jelly roll that I purchased some time ago and didn't know what to do with until MQ6 came along. I think one of my granddaughters will get this one. Pat A. in KY

Finally finished Step 4. This is an easy project but you just need some steady rain for a day or two in order to get it done. LOL Pat A. in KY

Boy do I belong with this group. My stash is growing, already fills a huge closet and several see-thru tubs. Stacks of fabrics on the sewing table and cutting table (I can no longer use my sewing room. I sew on my dining room table). Lots of batiks which I can't bear to cut into plus a huge collection of christmas fabrics some of which is so beautiful

Judy, And I was complaining about the glasses. I can't imagine how difficult that monster book is. It awaits me after I finish up the owl (haven't started it yet). Love the Gryffinder head also. I may do him as well. GReat job. Pat A. in KY

I hand't intended to to this MQ but looks like I have been stung by the quilting bug. (You should see all the "stings" I have. Don't know how I am going to work this in.) I found a jelly roll just laying around so I decided to use it for this project. Got about half of it cut up yesterday after I had finished one of the Harry Potter

Finally, I finished Block 4 with the glasses. What a pain in the you know what. AND if sewing it was bad enough, taking off the paper is a real pain. On to Block 12 tomorrow and then I think I will find some book blocks to do before I tackle the owl. Will post once I finish Block 12. Really must clean up all of this "snow" on the floor. Pat

Oh Judy, Your HP quilt is wonderful! REally like the bookshelf effect. I had thought about doing something like that but I am a long way from that juncture. I am still fiddling with HP's glasses. My floor looks like a snowstorm has gone through. I'm hoping to get that block finished tonight and maybe several others done this weekend and then

Just caught up on this thread. You all are having so much fun AND being productive. What beautiful quilts you have produced. And Kris thanks for the photos. It is nice to be able to put faces with names. VB was a wonderful choice for a retreat and the house is beautiful. It is so beautiful there. I have fond memories of it from the days I lived in Virginia
