  • Re: Quiltmaker Bitty Blocks

Carol, Aren't these bitty blocks cute. I've made all of the bowties and most of the baskets. I need 3 more for the size quilt I am making. Hope to work on the little houses today. They should go fairly quickly. I've got too much to do to spend too much more time on them. I'm glad that QM posted the requirements for the different size

I love La Passion too but don't know if I will do it. I tell myself I can't take on another project when I have so many in the works and so many that need finishing (uFO's). I still am working on my GFG. I would like to do it. I'm thinking, I'm thinking.

Judy, Your quilt is beautiful. Congratulations on getting it finished. I am still making blocks! Don't know when I will get it finished. I like what you did with your left over blocks. Your backing is as pretty as the front.

Debbie Dear - So sorry to hear that you ill. Prayers for a speedy recovery. I finally got my driveway plowed so hope to get out today to get to the doctor and to do some grocery shopping. I've been cooped up for a week . I won't know how to act when I get back to civilization again. Will probably stop at the LQS to pick up some fabric for an

  • Re: What am I doing wrong?

Gemquilts - I had that same problem. No matter how accurately I cut and sewed, my blocks were always a smidgen sometimes more off. I have started cutting my blocks larger than directed - instead of 2-7/8's I'll cut 3 or 3-1/4' and then trim them back. This makes more work but I have a lot more success in getting my blocks to match up, especially

Cheryl-Lyn If you interested in the quilt that I am thinking about you can find the directions for making it on YouTube. Also on MSQC web site. Directions use 5" blocks or charm packs. It is a very easy quilt to make.
